The training program is offered face to face for those who are involved in the sale and supply/service of alcohol according to relevant Tasmanian regulations. The training focuses on the performance outcomes, skills, and knowledge necessary for the responsible sale, service, or supply of alcohol.

Intermediate Latte Art: Take Your Coffee Game to the Next Level

Already mastered the basics of brewing and steaming? This course is for baristas with at least 3 months of hands-on experience and a solid foundation in coffee-making. It’s all about stepping up your latte art skills to create stunning designs that wow your customers. 

You’ll refine your milk texturing techniques, dive into free pouring, and master everything from basic designs to more advanced latte art. Plus, we’ll teach you how to troubleshoot common issues so you can pour with precision every time.

ONLINE: Food Safety Supervisor

THTA has partnered with the Queensland Hotels Association (RTO 30826) to provide a nationally recognised online training program for Food Safety Supervisors (SITXFSA005 and SITXFSA006).
In Tasmania, all licensed food businesses must have an accessible Food Safety Supervisor (FSS). The Food Safety Supervisor qualification must have been attained within the last five years, as there was previously no expiry date on the certificates. The best practice is a business should nominate a Primary and a Secondary Food Safety Supervisor for each site/premises.

The training for Food Safety Supervisors encompasses the following units:
  • SITXFSA005 – Use hygienic practices for food safety &
  • SITXFSA006 – Participate in safe food handling practices

Learn how to keep guests engaged and comfortable as you build essential communication and time management skills and earn Tassie Tourism Ambassador recognition to ensure a memorable experience for everyone. Join us and make every visitor’s time in Hobart unforgettable! 

*Industry requirements suggest that you also have a current first aid certificate to obtain work.  

Wine Knowledge: Sip, Swirl, and Serve with Confidence
