Designed specifically for Tasmania's hospitality and tourism sector, this service helps operators identify challenges, uncover opportunities and prioritise actions that can strengthen business performance.

Your Business Diagnostic includes:

  • A pre-visit preparation questionnaire
  • Initial review of your business context and priorities
  • A two-hour on-site business diagnostic

What Happens Next?

Step 1 – Complete the Expression of Interest Form:
Complete the online Expression of Interest form and provide some basic information about your business, current challenges and priorities.

Step 2 – Review by THTA and Mischief Insight & Impact:
Once submitted, your information will be reviewed by THTA and Mischief Insight & Impact to confirm suitability for the service and identify any specific focus areas for the diagnostic.
By submitting the Expression of Interest form, you acknowledge that THTA and Mischief Insight & Impact may review the information provided for the purpose of assessing and planning your Business Diagnostic Service.

Step 3 – Invoice and Booking Confirmation:
Following review, THTA will issue an invoice and contact you to arrange a suitable date and time for your on-site business diagnostic.

Step 4 – On-Site Diagnostic Visit:
A facilitated two-hour business diagnostic visit will be conducted at your business premises.

Step 5 – Receive Your Action Report:
Following the visit, you will receive a short practical report identifying key observations, opportunities and recommended actions to support future improvement.

Service Fee:
Business Diagnostic Service - $400 GST per business
(Additional travel charges may apply for some regional locations.)
