Upcoming Courses
The program supports women involved in sport including athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and volunteers to build confidence, leadership capability and visibility, both on and off the field.
The course is free for up to 15 participants, supported through Tasmanian Government funding provided to Clubs Tasmania, enabling greater access to leadership development opportunities for women in sport. Allocation of places will be on a first come, first served basis.
Is this course right for me?
This course may be right for you if you:
- Are involved in sport in any capacity including athlete, coach, official, administrator, volunteer or emerging leader
- Are interested in building leadership confidence and capability
- Can commit to completing the core modules and at least two elective modules
- Are willing to actively participate and apply learning between sessions
- Are ready to invest time and energy in your leadership development
Given the limited number of places and the significant investment in delivering this program, participants are asked to make a strong commitment once enrolled.
The course involves up to six full days of face-to-face training delivered between March and November 2026, as well as additional learning, reflection and practical application activities outside of workshop days.
This commitment supports a consistent cohort experience and meaningful leadership development over time.

Build self-awareness, strengthen your leadership skills and discover how you lead best. Each stand-alone module delivers practical tools you can use immediately, while together they create a connected journey of growth, reflection and real-world application.

How the program works:
The program consists of six stand-alone modules. Participants can join any module at any time and still gain meaningful, practical value. Cost is $150 per module.
Completed together, the modules form a connected leadership journey, allowing learning to deepen over time through reflection, practice and application.

Already mastered the basics of brewing and steaming? This course is for baristas with at least 3 months of hands-on experience and a solid foundation in coffee-making. It’s all about stepping up your latte art skills to create stunning designs that wow your customers.
You’ll refine your milk texturing techniques, dive into free pouring, and master everything from basic designs to more advanced latte art. Plus, we’ll teach you how to troubleshoot common issues so you can pour with precision every time.
Note: This course is designed for baristas aiming to up their game in the industry—it’s not for home coffee lovers looking for a casual hobby session. Time to become the latte artist you were born to be!
Please note; this course is industry tailored for those wanting to further their skills as a Barista, it is not suited for home baristas.

Is there an age limit for course participants?
There are no age restrictions for most courses. However, for our Introduction to Barista Skills and Responsible Service of Alcohol (face-to-face), participants must be over 16 years old.

How much are the courses?
Course prices are listed on our website. We are lucky enough to have some funding assistance through the Tasmanian Government to make training more accessible for you.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via credit card or direct deposit. It is important to remember your course spot is only secured once payment is made and we reach our minimum numbers.
Can I purchase courses for multiple people?
Yes, you can buy courses individually online or contact us for group bookings at info@vxt.org.au.

How do I enrol?

How long are the courses?
Most courses are one day, but we’re constantly adding new options designed in partnership with our industry partners. Visit our website and follow us on socials for up-to-date details.
Where do your courses take place?
Courses are held across Tasmania. For many of our southern courses they will be held at our Castray Esplanade ‘campus’. The venue for your chosen course will be confirmed upon enrolment.
